Life Insurance Specialist – Andy Herrera State Farm (Downers Grove, IL)
Andy Herrera State Farm is looking for an experienced Life Insurance Specialist to join our successful, long-established agency in Downers Grove, Illinois. This is a great opportunity for a motivated professional to tap into a large, loyal book of business with strong in-book sales potential.
What You’ll Do
- Proactively engage with our existing customers to identify their life insurance needs and expand coverage options.
- Develop customized life insurance plans that meet client goals and build long-term security.
- Collaborate with our team to enhance overall agency growth through cross-selling opportunities.
- Maintain compliance with State Farm and state insurance requirements.
What We’re Looking For

Active Illinois Life Insurance License (required).

Previous experience in life insurance sales with a proven track record.
- Excellent communication skills and a passion for helping customers protect what matters most.
- Self-motivated, relationship-driven, and eager to grow with an established agency.

- We help customers with their insurance and financial services needs, including Auto Insurance, Home Insurance, Life Insurance, Retirement Planning, Business Insurance, College Planning, Health Insurance, and Renters Insurance.
- Our office is located in Downers Grove.
- Before becoming a State Farm Agent, I was previously employed as a State Farm Agent Team Member.
- I am a second generation State Farm agent.
- I am a proud graduate of Illinois State University.
- We currently have 7 team members at our agency.
- We have 110 years of combined insurance experience in our office.
- Our agency has received awards including: President's Club, Chairman's Circle, Ambassador Travel, Legion of Honor, Senior Vice President's Club, and New Agent Program Qualifier
